After the manual-winding tourbillon, the minute repeater, the automatic, the tourbillon automatic and the chronograph GMT automatic, Bulgari claimed yet another world’s-thinnest record — its sixth — in 2020. This BVL 388 movement combines a monopusher chronograph with a tourbillon, is wound by a peripheral rotor for 52 hours of power reserve and stands just 3.50mm high. Bulgari houses it inside the Octo Finissimo’s distinctive titanium case, measuring 7.40mm high. Produced as a limited edition of 50.
