Oyster Perpetual 36

Rolex rolled out a new generation of Oyster Perpetual in 2020 that includes multiple renditions of the Oyster Perpetual 36 with lacquer dials in eyecatching shades of candy pink, turquoise blue, yellow, coral red and green. All come equipped with the new 3230 automatic movement; a calibre for which multiple patents have been filed that brings important gains in precision, power reserve, shock-resistance and resistance to magnetic fields. It incorporates the patented, amagnetic Chronergy escapement that combines improved energy efficiency with greater dependability, alongside an optimised version of the Parachrom blue balance spring in a highly shock-resistant and paramagnetic alloy. Thanks to the barrel architecture and the escapement’s increased efficiency, the power reserve of this Superlative Chronometer movement is extended to 70 hours.
