Themes: Technical
Specificities: Tourbillon
The third watch by brothers Bart and Tim Grönefeld, winner of the Tourbillon Prize at the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève in 2014, the Parallax returns with a steel dial that is decorated entirely by hand, with techniques including hammering, bead-blasting and graining. The time and expertise required to create each dial are such that this particular Parallax is produced only on request. The raised flying tourbillon appears to be lifting itself out of the movement; this, however, is not the only compelling feature of this watch, whose crown is pushed, rather than pulled, when setting the time. When this function is selected (shown by a function indicator), the tourbillon and seconds hand instantly return to the 12 o'clock position and remain there while the time is set.
