Perpetual 1908
Rolex debuts its Perpetual collection with the Perpetual 1908, named for the year the Rolex trademark was registered in Switzerland. Elegantly understated, the refined case carries a domed and fluted bezel. Crafted from 18k yellow gold or 18k white gold, its transparent back shows off the movement decoration, including Rolex Côtes de Genève on the bridges. The dial, in black or white, combines Arabic numeral hour markers at 3, 9 and 12 with facetted indexes. Small seconds are at 6 o’clock. The alligator strap, in black or brown, fastens with a Dualclasp double folding clasp. This Perpetual 1908 is fitted with calibre 7140. This new movement incorporates a Chronergy escapement in nickel-phosphorous, a Syloxi silicon balance spring and Paraflex shock absorbers. Water-resistant to 50 metres, like all Rolex watches it has Superlative Chronometer certification.
