Perpetual Moon 38 Eclipse I

This is Arnold & Son’s first watch especially for women. Bezel, lugs and crown are set with 90 brilliant-cut diamonds on a 38mm case in white gold. Calibre A&S1612 has been specifically developed to host a large precision moon-phase complication that remains accurate for 122 years. Like many Arnold & Son calibres, its boasts an impressive power reserve; 90 hours in this instance. The dial is made from a fine layer of aventurine whose lace-like cut-outs allow a glimpse of a starry sky in mother-of-pearl, shaded blue to white. The two moon discs are ruthenium crystals. At 8 o’clock, the main motif is encrusted with mother-of-pearl, diamonds, and blue and pink sapphires, all cut to form a star complete with glistening halo.
