Portofino Hand-Wound Moon Phase Edition "150 Years"

For its 150th anniversary, the Schaffhausen firm has released a Jubilee collection of 27 limited-edition watches, shared between four lines: Portugieser, Pilot's Watches, Da Vinci and Portofino. Joining the latter line are three new watches including this very elegant Portofino with moon phases. The version shown here is the only one in the collection with a gold case and blue dial (there is also a rendition in steel with blue or white dial). The same red gold has been used for the hands, as well as the moon and stars that appear in a window at 12 o'clock. The moonphase mechanism differs from the actual lunar cycle by just one day after 122 years.
