Project Z10
Themes:
Design, Technical
Specificities:
Skeleton, Calendar
This Project Z10 adopts an intensely mechanical aesthetic. In addition to off-centre hours and minutes, functions include a retrograde day of the week display and retrograde seconds on a scale marked 0 to 30. Date is shown in an aperture at 6 o'clock. The inspiration for the Z10 came from Manhattan Bridge, an ambitious construction from the early years of the steel era. All the identifying features of the Project Z series are there, in the Zaliumâ„¢ case, a Harry Winston exclusive alloy, the bi-material strap with a strip of blue alligator mounted on a black rubber structure, and the movement, shown off by the openworked dial in blue anodised aluminium. Mechanical and metallic in style and spirit, for ten years Project Z has grown in complete harmony with Harry Winston's watchmaking philosophy.
