Radiomir California

Panerai presents its first California dial in a 45mm diameter, having previously only ever produced this type of dial with a 47mm case. Paneristi will appreciate the added bonus of its green colour. Inspired by Ref. 3646, which is conserved in the Italian watchmaker’s archives, this Radiomir California PAM01349 alternates Roman and Arabic numerals, in the top and bottom halves of the dial, with bar indexes. Minutes are shown on a railroad track that runs around the periphery of the dial. Another distinguishing feature is Panerai’s “Brunito” finish for the case in eSteel™, an alloy made with 95% recycled steel. This weathered effect is achieved by physical vapour deposition (PVD) then hand-finished to give each watch its unique patina. The manual-winding P.5000 movement delivers eight days of power reserve.
