Bovet's first women's timepiece to feature a "writing slope" case, whose bezel is inclined at 6 o'clock, the Récital 23 delivers a technical and, at the same time, poetic interpretation of the moon-phase display. Prominent in three dimensions in the upper part of the dial, the hemispherical dome of the lunar complication is engraved across its surface, and its cavities filled with lume. The current phase of the moon is displayed in a tri-dimensional circular aperture; manufacturing and decorating this window alone implies a full day of work for the brand's skilled artisans. Only the most refined exterior could contain such a precision mechanism, which requires a single adjustment of one day in 122 years, hence Bovet has chosen white gold for the case, which is set with round or baguette diamonds, aventurine glass for the dial, and diamonds for the hour markers. And of course, the romantic touch of the hour and minute hands which form a heart shape every time they meet.
