Royal Oak Concept Flying Tourbillon "Tamara Ralph" Limited Edition / 38.5 mm

Audemars Piguet presents a Royal Oak Concept Flying Tourbillon in collaboration with the couturière Tamara Ralph. Inspired by the femininity and creativity of Tamara's Haute Couture designs, this 102-piece limited edition in rose gold shimmers with a Frosted Gold finish – an ancient Florentine jewellery technique that was adapted by Audemars Piguet's artisans in 2016. In a palette of rose, bronze, gold and cognac tones, four circles in rose gold form the dial, rising in layers like a wave rippling outwards from the flying tourbillon at 6 o'clock to produce an astonishing impression of depth. Mirroring this multi-layered architecture, the tourbillon's cage incorporates three rings around an off-centre disc that sparkles with 19 brilliant-cut diamonds. This motif is repeated in the manual-winding Calibre 2964, whose back bridges are decorated with five progressively larger circles that radiate from the back of the flying tourbillon cage.
