Launched in 1993, the Seamaster Diver 300M put Omega back on the dive watch scene and marked the beginning of what would be a lasting partnership with the James Bond franchise. For its 25th anniversary, the "Bond watch" returns with a fresh new design and as 14 new references, with six in stainless steel and eight in gold and steel. The slightly larger (42mm) case houses the new-generation Master Chronometer 8800 movement. Tested to METAS certification standards, it takes the collection to a higher level of precision, performance and magnetic resistance. Omega has rethought every detail with care, from the ceramic bezel (with a Ceragold or white enamel diving scale) to the ceramic dial that reprises the original wave pattern. The helium escape valve has been given a conical shape and patented with a technology that allows it to be operated underwater.
