Serenade Luna

Glashütte Original unveils the Serenade Luna for women in a 32.5mm diameter. Specially developed to fit inside this small case, the in-house automatic Calibre 35 measures 26mm across and 3.8mm high. It supplies 60 hours of power reserve and drives a precision moon phase, which requires correction of just one day after 122 years. The corresponding indicator is set in the dial at 6 o’clock, beneath a star-studded border. So as not to add thickness to the movement, Glashütte Original has imagined an innovative construction for this moon-phase display, whose flat disc covers almost the entire calibre. It is covered with a sliver of mother-of-pearl on which four circles are positioned at regular intervals to represent the night sky. On full show through the sapphire back, the solid gold rotor is decorated with a seashell guilloché pattern. Four versions are proposed, all with diamond hour markers. Two steel versions have a white mother-of-pearl dial, with or without diamonds on the bezel, on a steel bracelet or alligator strap. A third model, also in steel, is paired with a blue dial and the same choice of steel or alligator straps, while the fourth model, in red gold, boasts a shimmering golden-green dial framed by 48 sparkling diamonds on the bezel.
