Speedmaster "Dark Side of the Moon" Apollo 8

Fifty years after the Apollo 8 mission became the first to orbit the Moon and, in doing so, see its hidden side, Omega has introduced a new watch to its Dark Side of the Moon collection, with a black ceramic case. The fully skeletonised dial focuses the eye on the movement parts, including the blackened bridges and mainplate with their laser-ablated lunar surface decoration. Like the Moon, this watch has two very different faces: the dial side represents our view of the Moon from Earth, while the back symbolises the dark side that only a handful of astronauts will ever have the privilege to see. Written around the caseback, the words "We'll see you on the other side" refer to the command module pilot's promise to ground control as the crew prepared to make its journey around the Moon.
