Submersible BMG-TECH™ - 47mm

This professional dive watch combines two innovations from Panerai's Laboratorio di Idee. The first, used for the 47mm case, is BMG-Tech™ bulk metallic glass, obtained from a glass-like alloy of zirconium, copper, aluminium, titanium and nickel. The resulting material is exceptionally solid, as well as highly resistant to corrosion, shocks and magnetic fields. The second innovation is Carbotech™, used here on the bezel. Based on carbon fibre, this is a lightweight material that's also tough and, as well as its physical properties, has a striking appearance. Legibility is enhanced by the use of two different types of Super-LumiNova. This Submersible is water-resistant to a depth of 300 metres. Functions, including stop seconds, are powered by the in-house P.9010 movement that's a slim 6mm high.
