Swiss Alp Minute Retrograde
Launched in 2016 in response to what we were told would be a smartwatch invasion, the Swiss Alp watch, which models its shape on a connected watch, continues to keep us on the hop. Now it's all-change once again, thanks to a collaboration with Hautlence, part of the same family-owned group, whose much-admired HL2.0 calibre beats inside the now famous white gold case. The three tri-dimensional sapphire crystals on the top and sides of the case offer a compelling view from every angle of the Grand Feu enamel retrograde minutes dial. The same is true of the semi-trailing hours mechanism that is driven by a chain of 12 articulated links. A bird's-eye view of the regulating organ together with a power-reserve indicator, discreetly positioned at 6 o'clock, completes the picture.
