T1 Titanium Green Millésime Edition
HYT presents three non-limited editions of the T1, launched in 2024, in purple, green and chocolate brown colourways. All three share a 45mm facetted octagonal case in titanium or rose gold, and will be available until April 2025 only. The mechanical movement is HYT’s proprietary calibre with a fluidic time display, engineered around twin pistons at the base of two glass capillary tubes. These pistons form a sealed reservoir; one contains a coloured liquid, the other a clear liquid. Under the impulse of the manual-winding 501-CM movement, as one contracts, the other expands, driving the liquids through the capillaries. The point at which these immiscible fluids meet forms a visible interface which, as it moves, indicates the hour on a scale around the outer rim of the dial. When the coloured liquid reaches the end of the tube, after twelve hours, it make a retrograde movement through the tube, back to its starting position to begin a new cycle.
This trio of watches introduces a new red or black colour for the time-display fluid, depending on the version, with a central minutes hand. Power reserve, indicated on the dial, is 72 hours and all three versions are worn on a rubber strap.
