Nomos Glashütte is equipping several of its collections, including this Tangente, with the new DUW 6101 in-house calibre. Key features include Nomos's proprietary escapement, the quick-set date that adjusts both forwards and backwards, and stop seconds. It's a slim calibre at just 3.60mm high whose sizeable 35.20mm diameter leaves ample room for a peripheral date display. On this model, a splash of red shows through small oblong windows in the dial to indicate the date without distracting from the clean aesthetic for which the Tangente is known.
