Time Pyramid 42.5 Platinum

Arnold & Son returns to its signature Time Pyramid, this time with a refreshed, more compact 42.5mm case, fitted with an aventurine glass back, in red gold or in platinum. The colour of each metal is repeated on the rim of the hour and minute dial in white opal. In contrast with the usual notion of time as either linear or cyclical, Arnold & Son has opted to arrange the movement's organs vertically, from top to bottom, rather than in a circle, reprising a structure that was popular with John Arnold and his contemporaries. As a result, the skeleton movement takes the form of a pyramid, with the screw balance wheel uppermost at 12 o'clock and, below it, the two gear trains and the two power-reserve indicators: one for each of the two barrels which accumulate 90 hours of power reserve.
