Time Pyramid Tourbillon

A new calibre in Arnold & Son's Instrument collection, this skeleton tourbillon movement gives the impression of floating between the two sapphire crystals of the case. Its inspiration comes from the regulators made by John and Roger Arnold, with their separate displays of hours, minutes and seconds. This A&S 8615 movement is built on three levels with the tourbillon, which carries subsidiary seconds, and the two power-reserve indicators superposed by the sapphire crystal hour dial, itself crowned with a ring to indicate the minutes. The gear train runs vertically in a linear format to connect the two barrels at 6 o'clock with the tourbillon escapement at 12 o'clock, thus giving the movement its pyramid structure. Proposed as two limited editions of 28 pieces each in steel or 18k red gold.
