Tourbillon 24 Secondes Architecture
Inside the atypical convex case of this Tourbillon 24 Secondes Architecture by Greubel Forsey is a new and highly sculptural movement. Visible at 6 o’clock, the tourbillon makes one rapid rotation in 24 seconds and is inclined 25 degrees, both elements contributing to enhanced chronometric performance. It is anchored to a large, openworked spherical bridge. The barrel bridge at 10 o’clock is similarly designed and sits above the engraved cover of the container for the three series-coupled coaxial barrels which combine to deliver 90 hours of power reserve. This power reserve is shown by a red triangle that moves over a conical disc at 3 o’clock, also secured by a polished titanium bridge. Openworked central hour and minute hands are joined by small seconds at 8 o’clock. This three-dimensional composition distinguishes an exclusive timepiece: production will be limited to a total of 65 pieces, manufactured between 2022 and 2025.
