Defy Revival A3648
Zenith has established a new tradition to give its most iconic models the Revival treatment. The Defy A3648 is one. The first Defy dive watch, it guaranteed a 600-metre water-resistance rating: an impressive performance even by today's standards, and certainly in 1969 when it was launched. The Defy Revival A3648 retains the Defy's distinctive angular case, in steel with a 37mm diameter. The fourteen-sided bezel in steel, a feature of the historical model, is present but positioned above the round rotating bezel. Also steel, this unidirectional bezel features a sapphire crystal insert, instead of the original Plexiglas, with the same black on bright orange markings - a colour contrast that extends to the matte black dial with orange hands and minute track. Indices and hands are filled with white Super-LumiNova® that emits a long-lasting green glow. With its screw-down crown and sapphire back, the Defy Revival A3648 has the same 600-metre depth rating as the 1969 model. It is powered by the Elite 670 automatic manufacture calibre with 50 hours of power reserve and worn on an integrated steel bracelet.
