Datograph Perpetual Tourbillon Honeygold Lumen

Introduced in 2016, the Datograph Perpetual Tourbillon returns in 2024 as a new interpretation, limited to 50 pieces. This model – which incorporates a flyback chronograph with a precisely jumping minute counter, a perpetual calendar and a tourbillon with a stop-seconds mechanism – is presented in Lange's exclusive Honeygold® and as a "Lumen" version. Legibility is paramount to the dial layout, which is arranged so that the outsize date, in twin apertures at 12 o'clock, forms an equilateral triangle with the two subsidiary dials. The subsidiary seconds dial, weekday and day/night indicator are on the left-hand side, while the precisely jumping minute counter, month and leap year are on the right. As for the moon-phase display, it is seamlessly embedded at 6 o'clock. The "Lumen" designation refers to the semi-transparent dial and the luminous coating that make the displays and functions glow. Inside the 41.5mm case, calibre L952.4 comprises 684 components, including a balance wheel with poising weights and a column wheel for the chronograph, and is finished to the highest standard. Power reserve is 50 hours.
