Tempograph Spirit

Louis Moinet adds a novel touch to the dial of the Tempograph Spirit in the form of a 20-second retrograde display by a central hand. These relatively short intervals are totalised on a counter at 9 o’clock, whose red, blue and black segments record the three 20-second sequences in one minute. Sitting diagonally opposite, at 4 o’clock, is the hours and minutes subdial. This creates a visual divide, with timekeeping indications on the right and, on the left, the mechanism that drives this unusual retrograde function. Louis Moinet is producing two limited editions of 60 examples of the Tempograph Spirit in titanium and two limited editions of 28 in 18k rose gold.
