Type 1 Slim X

Introduced for Ressence's tenth anniversary, the Type 1 Slim X is intended to make its wearer more conscious of the transitory nature of time through the changing appearance of the dial. The specially created symbol for this collection merges an X – the Roman numeral for ten – with an hourglass, and features at the 10 o'clock position on the hours satellite. As always with Ressence, design follows function with the brand's signature ROCS display system of disks in constant orbit around each other. On this Type 1 Slim X, the hours, minutes, seconds and days of the week satellites are a deep olive green in colour. Additionally, the main dial and the hours satellite are divided vertically, with a matte finish on one side and a circular brushed finish on the other. There is no crown: the watch is wound and set by a lever on the back of the case.
